was recently in Qatar, the Persian Gulf, which opened for Islamic Arts Museum, just MIA. The museum stands on a 60m off-shore island. This is to ensure that never can put a building the museum in the shade. That was one of the conditions of the American architect IM Pei. Pei studied for many years, the Islamic culture to create an adequate structure. Pei was awarded the 1983 Pritzker Prize for his architectural achievements.
The museum, which also houses an educational center, included an area of 35,000 sqm and is surrounded by a 20-acre park.
